Clinical Hypnotherapy Diploma

Specific topics are: Anxiety, Panic, Phobias, Addictive Behaviour such as Smoking, Irritable Bowel and other digestive symptoms, Fears and Irrational thoughts.

This diploma course offers assignment based theory into the history of Hypnosis, the professional background of medical case histories and underpinning knowledge of the psychology behind it. Including the top specialists in the field of hypnosis such as Dr Erickson.

Practical workshops in specific training including Induction techniques, Setting the scene into relaxation and visualisation, Ideo Motor Responses, Body Language, Cognitive Hypnosis as well as Deep Hypnosis. Regression techniques, Authoritative Commands and Confusional techniques. Case studies are required and the relevant proof of understanding the contra-indications to and limitations to Clinical Hypnotherapy.

This course is run by Julie Langton Smith and Maureen Kiely .

Julie Langton Smith is a practicing Clinical Hypnotherapist as well as an Emotional Therapy practitioner, she has been working in Healthcare for 20 years and has 2 clinical practices, one in London and the other in Sussex. She is the author of 4 Hypnotherapy for Health CD’s which are available from Waterstones and Amazon Books. A qualified tutor in other healthcare subjects such as Anatomy and Physiology, Sports Therapy, Nutrition and Diet, Bio-Magnetic Medicine and Energy Field Therapy. She has lectured at the University of Westminster and carries out health lectures to students up and down the country.

Maureen Kiely BSC (Hons). N.N.E.B, Dip. RWTA, PDCHyp (Dist.), MBSCH, MFETT, FBAMH is a practitioner of clinical hypnosis (having a Diploma at distinction level and a Postgraduate Diploma) and she is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and a Fellow of the British Association of Medical Hypnosis. Maureen lectured at senior level and internationally for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis.
